And I want to dispel the myths, that it's easy to find an apartment on the island on your own. Nothing like this! We have passed this experience, and I tell you, this is Sisyphean labor, especially in the season. Accommodation should be booked at least 3 months prior to arrival, but preferably earlier, to get a price not overpriced by the season and options for choosing.
